Ladies and Gents,
Joiphone company are thieves. The scam they have is pay first for the whole year and once you decide to cancel, they will mislead you, till they renew automatically. At which point once you renew they will not refund the money.
1. If you are thinking of cancelling, please make sure you kill the card first so that they cannot bill you.
2. It might be better if you changed service all together, if you are about near to fall into there pit of death, they will avoid you till you fight at which point they will claim BBB and other agencies that you did not follow there process.
My story is very simple, i wanted to cancel three weeks before my renewal term, they said email to a specific address, i sent my equipment, yet they still held my number till the day of renewal. Finally they billed me and it was to late they had my money and i was already in a pit. They avoided me for two months till i reported the matter to BBB, at which point they made an excuse that i didnt follow protocol. They knew i was leaving and they didn't rectify the matter for a months.
I have emailed there corporate office, who seems to be in on the scam as well.
